I have recently become very intersted in making pouches and bags. Here is a padded cozy I whipped up the other night. I am a clumsy, clumsy individual and wanted something a little more protective for my ipod touch.

I am a little disapointed with the straightness of the machine stiching. I am a beginner at best (and using a very old machine). I will get the hang of it.

This is really good for a beginner Smiley when I started everything I made was a mess and it took me forever to get use to my mom's old fashion sewing machine  Grin Also, what did you use for the padding ? I'm a clumsy person too!

You did a great job for a beginner. Sewing straight will take practice - the more you sew, the better you get.

I think it looks great, and I love that fabric, & the added ruffle is adorable!  I've been sewing for years, and I still have trouble with "straight" lines.  I find when people look at things I've made, they are in complete awe, and never see the mistakes that stick out like a sore thumb to me, so don't sweat it.  I think you should be very proud of it!

Experience is the name every one gives to their mistakes.

Where did you get this fabric from?HuhHuhHuh?? Or at least the name of the designer if you know it?
Overall, I think this cozy is really really great. And it's really cute. I would love to get one like this.... if I had an ipod.... But I love it!

This is amazing for a beginner!  My first attempts were....dismal at best

Wish on everything.
