This afghan is called "A Human...Being". (Please click on the photos to enlarge them).
It is made with Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in black and white.
I used a size J cabled afghan hook.
It's 36 inches across and 51 inches long.
So it's more like a lapghan.
Here's the back. Since there is so little white yarn, I couldn't really hide the weaving-in of the white yarn ends. But I did my best.
I began with this photo I found on the internet, (I don't know where the photo originated from)...
...and used Photobucket's really nice photo editing options to make the picture as you see it next. Photobucket really has a lot of nice features now to change-up pictures. I needed to simplify the first photo and make it easier to crochet.
See how he/she is practically outlined in the second photo? That's what I needed to make it into a graph form.
Then, once I had this made, I took the photo to the http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/
(microrevolt's knitpro) site and uploaded the image to their graph generator making a workable graph to crochet.
I graphed the words at http://www.celticxstitch.ie/cgi-bin/stitches.cgi
(Celticxstitch) graph generating site. This site is so cool because you can make any words into graph form. It will be in a Celtic font.
