I love this! It looks fantastic on you. I've never considered making anything like this because it wouldn't be practical, but now I'm thinking one could wear it with a cardigan...its just so pretty! Wonderful job!!

Thanks! I used Patons Cotton DK in Snowball White. I got my copy of The Encyclopedia of Knitting at Barnes & Noble (yay xmas gift cards...).

hi synne, i've been trying to find that patons cotton, where did you buy yours?
I got mine at the Smiley's Yarns sale in Manhattan last fall, so it's quite likely it's discontinued. There should be any number of similar cotton dk weights out there though, the patons isn't anything special at all. Good luck!

You should submit that for the Knitty calendar that coming out next year.  Their looking for pictures of items that have been made w/ the knitty patterns.

I used two strands--the dk knit pretty well to gauge.
