Behind again Roll Eyes That scarf is great, as is Nessie's - though how anyone could find Scotland cold is beyond me Tongue

I got home to find TWO! parcels waiting for me:-)

Thanks SevsOnlyGirl!

So I quickly tore into them...

Everything all nicely wrapped up - I@m getting very excited at this stage!

And despite having nothing to do with the swap, my loving BF decides he needs to eat all the sweets and get involved!

Quilling kit:
I've never tried quilling before so this will be exciting!

Cap'n Crunch! This was on my list and is a limited edition. I have two bowls for breakfast the next morning. I love it so much!

KoolAid sachets - these were on my list too. I found another sachet lurking in something after I took this photo. I'm going to try dying with some of these I think (and some I'll drink, of course!)

DR PEPPER LIP BALM!!!

I was so excited by this! I had some of this when I was about 16 and I lost it and was so gutted. Now, SevsOnlyGirl didn't know this but she got me some anyway! I squealed with joy when I saw this. Thank you!!! She also sent me two lip blams which she' made herself and some bits and pieces from the college where she works. Wonderful!

SevsOnlyGirl also made me this beautiful crocheted shawl (and it matches the colour of my duffle coat perfectly!)

and a gorgeous piece of embroidery based on  traditional Amish pattern.

I spent a month in Pennsylvania as part of a cross community programme when i was 15. I loved it there and so this reminds me of that lovely time. I think I will either frame it or make it the focal point of a new quilt or wall hanging. It's absolutely beautiful - thank you!

The other crafted item is a lovely teacup pin cushion.

Isn't it gorgeous? And so useful!

I also received some lovely magazines

(there's a great trifle recipe in one of them), some items for making jewelry , a microfibre cloth and loads and loads of sweets and snacks

  .
I'm totally addicted to the peanut butter pretzel sandwiches
.
 They are divine!

Also in the box was this lovely cruet set

and some handy items - I could've done with this tide-to-go on my holiday recently!

I tipped coffee all down my white tshirt on the first plane journey so had to spend the next 24 hours and 2 subsequent flights feeling slightly ashamed of myself and trying to cover it up. I am such a klutz!

And everything all together (without the Cap'n Crunch - I left that out by mistake!)

Thank you SevsOnlyGirls! I've been so lucky to have you as a partner and I absolutely love everything!

here are a few more pictures of the nessie plushie that i sent to smmarrt, just before she found her way into the box and made it across the water Smiley i tried to make her look a bit alien and spooky, but if people think she's cute, then that's cool too Grin

I'm so glad you like the Cap'n Crunch!  I was worried that you only wanted the original ones. Smiley

Don't let the boy eat all the sweets! Cheesy

Thanks for adding more pix of Nessie. I took about 5 but I didn't want to fill the page with just my photos. She is adorable and creepy and just my style. I did leave her on my desk at work so I can show the children tomorrow. Now I have to look through all the children's books I have at home and at work to find all the fairy tales and legends books so I can properly introduce her!

And it is freezing in Scotland in summer - just like San Francisco!
