I hope not, too! He is a crazy wound-up wild man when I come home, so I let him tear up the junk mail and any boxes that come, so he will leave me alone to look at the mail. I just hope I didn't somehow miss it and leave it in the packaging. I feel bad that I can't find it!  Undecided

What a good use for your junkmail! Cheesy  Should I send you a box of mine for him to tear up? Wink  I bet it'll take some getting used to having you gone to work.

I can't wait to see more packages - mine should be almost there by now!

I have received!  Grin

This is what I found in my wonderful package from shortern yesterday:

A copy of shortern's daily university paper, which has some interesting articles about camping in, which I'm dying to read. Hopefully there will be some ideas in there for Guide camp next year!

An American flag bandanna, which is really cool, and some ribbon to match - I'll definately be using that! Also, some Reeses peanut butter cups - as soon as I saw them I was so happy! I love peanut butter and have heard of, but never tried these before. They are scrumptious! Thank you so much Cheesy

A red bandanna - how did you know I love bandannas? Some Kent State University socks (which I am wearing right now), a necklace made with brown sparkly beads, a beer mat for a local brewery which is located on the site of an old railway station, and some postcards of the University campus. (I didn't know you could get black squirrels - very cool)

(Sorry for the shocking photo) This is a 'Police Line Do Not Cross' scarf from my Wist - it is awesome, and I love you shortern for making me one! You can see the necklace here too.

Here is another shot - not quite sure why it has rotated...

Thank you for being an awesome swap partner Smiley

It was a great day in San Francisco for me - three swap packages received! Lots of photos so please bear with me.

What I saw when I opened (ripped, tore, decimated) the outer packaging:

My crafted item, Nessie!

Needless to say, I love her. The scarf is too funny. I froze my a$$ off in Scotland in August!

Goodies - 2 types of dark chocolate, tea from Marks and Spenser, and a key chain that says "Where there is tea, there is HOPE". I agree.

More goodies - a note pad and stickers:

Also included was a great candy card (no photo) and two magazines:

I wanted a tabloid magazine - great for inchies and ATC's and annachronism included a crafty mag, too, "the UK's number one sewing magazine!"

It's all fabulous, Victoria. Thanks so much. Off to sew and drink tea! Oh, and watching the last 3 episodes of "Berkeley Square" tonight - I love BBC dramas!  Cheerio all - great swap!

Omg that Nessie is aweeeesome!

And mpemporium, I'm so glad you liked the package! I had never knitted anything in two colors like that before, so it was challenging but fun to figure it out! Also, the necklace is actually just a string of beads (since you make jewelry) but I'm excited to see that it can actually be a necklace too (and looks awesome that way)  Grin
