Grin I received an amazing parcel from Batgirl Grin
here is everything

It had gorgeous crafted jewellery (sorry my camera doesn't like close-ups) which I'm wearing right now

A fantabulous Grin crafted Kokopelli made with US maps and local animals and his FRIENDS (wooden thrifted one and 2 half yards of fabric which I can't wait to use)

2 cowboy shirts (I'm wearing the  plaid one now) and some US measures Smiley Wink -
AND a super collection of postcards where Batgirl explained about Minnesota ( I wanted to know about my swapee's part of the US) - a super magnet - some maple sugar (I'd asked for Maple syrup - but Batgirl found something even more unusual - and that wouldn't spill in transit- I can't wait to try it) and lots of sweets - which the kids and I have attacked ferociously already Tongue

Not to forget some newspaper comics  Smiley- one of which we get here in Guernsey but only in black and white  Embarrassed
Thanks a lot Batgirl, I love it all
Please feel free to add more pictures if you have better ones (I'm no good at photographs)

I love that you got cowboy shirts! Cheesy  That was definitely unusual. Smiley

Did batgirl tell you how cold it gets there?  I visited once and thought I was going to freeze to death. Wink (I like to tease her about that.lol)

Woah, I missed loads!

Craftypuppymom, I hope you everything was OK, the jerk chicken crisps are the newest flavour and, according to a friend's husband, a combination of prawn cocktail and bacon flavours Undecided I'll get your second package out this weekend Grin

Is anyone else looking at the parcels here and thinking 'I wish I'd thought of that'? There's some great stuff - the shirts are brilliant!

Oh, the animals & text on Kokopelli are cut out from a 1950's cub scout manual. It's pretty cute!

I wanted to demonstrate the difference between US Smarties, UK Smarties, and M&Ms!  Cheesy

I haven't tried your smarties yet but the mini m&Ms are like our smarties Wink
I'd forgotten to talk about the fake snow Embarrassed (probably because I hid it from the kids first thing, for fear of getting a snowy bathtub or something Wink)

Ha!!

I was dancing around with Milou, my dog, singing him a song about bagpuss when I opened mine. He wanted to eat bagpuss, but he shall remain on a high, safe shelf. That must've been so hard to make!
