ArtzyFartzy- I would also like to try the marbles in a ring setting. Can you steer us in the right direction where to get the findings for that?

Thanks,
Joey

I make my picture marbles into pins... these picture marbles are pretty expensive jewelry at stores... usually a pendant on a bathtub chain is $20 @_@

a few weekends ago my girlfriends and I put some on our record bracelets.  some very strong glue would be needed though, because most of them fell off. Cry

what type of glue did you use? I use LePage 4 all purpose household glue and it works pretty good and it doesn't smell that much

Hi,

My first post...I'm so proud.  Anyways, someone asked where they could buy the ring forms for flat marble picture rings.  I purchased mine from www.artchixstudio.c om.  She sends free gifts as well with every purchase (namely, vintage photo collage on a sheet or stickers) and seems to be very reasonably priced.  Otherwise, there is always Ebay!  Great Ebay store I found ... Rings'n Things.
I love that someone has tried clear caulking - I was about to try it this weekend, but wasn't sure how it would work.  It sounds like it would prevent accidents from severing the marble from the ring/magnet/bracelet/pendant.  There are some terribly strong 3/8" round magnets on Ebay right now selling for $20 per 100 count!  These things can hold up a newspaper and the shipping is only $5.

Can anyone tell me WHERE the market is for the rings?  : )  I'll have to start up a booth at the local Farmer's Market or sit on the beach and look desperate for a buck.

Love this website, by the way!  I was surprised that every post is upbeat and helpful - a rare thing for websites such as this!

Take care,
Erin

Thank you, Miss Tee2!  I'd been wanting to make pendants but wasn't sure quite how- you solved it nicely.
