I finally finished this kids chair I made out of cardboard. I used a method of the cartonnistes in europe. There is an instructable on it and lots of stuff in french out there. I took me forever to do this, but a less overscheduled individual could have done it in a weekend, I think. I am so proud of it!

That's cool!  How durable is this type of furniture?  It would be cool in a quirky sort of way to make furniture like this for a room, since it would probably cost less than buying actual furniture (for a while at least).

I think its durability depends on type of use- this is my first attempt so I'm not sure. It's for the kids, so i'm thinking 6mo-1 year depending on how much they like it  Wink I think for an adult it would hold up to average use. I am going to try an adult size chair using the instructions on youtube eventually.
