I just sent my package to Amymisha! The guy at the PO said it would take about a week to get there. Hopefully it's going to be sooner since we live so close!

I received my package this past friday and it was awesome.  I am having trouble getting my pictures to upload.  Camelama is going to post them for me I think.  I wanted everyone to know that the swap items I received were so wonderful.  There was items made of grape material and there was a bag made using ties as handles and it was great.  The water bottle cooler made from ties was awesome and will be used as a fanny bag.

The baby shower in a box goodies are amazing! What adorable gifts.

I know, aren't they?  I feel SO incredibly blessed. Cheesy

How was this organized?  I would have sent you something too!

It was all Aikibookworm to begin with - she made a comment about giving me a virtual baby shower..or something like that.  And then she and dharma_rebel organized the whole thing in secret.  All told, there are something like twenty or more people involved - seventeen who sent things to dharma and then she sent me a big box.  Aiki still has some stuff for me and apparently so do a few other people.  The only inkling I had that someone was doing something was that kaz sent me a PM asking if she could give my address to someone.  I just assumed one person had a little something for me.  And then two months went by so I thought maybe the package was never sent or got lost.  I was just about to check with kaz to make sure it hadn't been sent and gotten lost (so I could have her tell whoever it was that was sending it) when the package showed up.  Most of the people involved were from the FrugAlong and others from the first round of this swap.

Almost done, almost done. I am not going to go into the nightmare of my life for y'all, but I swear on my first born child my package will be out this week. Those who need to know the situation know it. The est of you can just send hugs if you'd like.
Hug,
Amy

Hi Frugal Ladies,

I have a question and have tried using the search function, but it mocks me.  Did someone here (I think it was here) use contact paper to make fabric wipe-able with a sponge for sandwich wraps/snack bags?  And if not, what did you use?

Thanks!
