I am very new to knitting and just wanted to share two things I knit for my daughter.  The apron top is from www.littleturtleknits.com and the shorts are from the Tiny Bird's pattern (don't have the link offhand).  I totally did the apron top wrong (it was my second knitting project) but it still turned out okay.  Here is a pic of my baby girl modeling her first mommy-made outfit!   Grin  Thanks for letting me share!

GREAT JOB!!!! I love LTK patterns, I have almost all of them  Roll Eyes

How did you do the ruffles at the bottom of the shorts??

I can't take credit for the ruffles on the legs.  Since I'm still learning all the ins and outs of knitting I didn't really want to learn crochet right now...so my mom did it for me.  She did a great job...it's a nice scalloped ruffle!   Smiley
