i had a couple of small pieces of styrofoam i'd been saving to do some art on.  i did a bird theme with both of them. let me know what you think!

i dont really like how this one turned out. i tried to do a birdcage effect, but its really sloppy.

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

I really love the first one.  Grin

If I were you, I'd scrap the cage look on the second one. Not trying to be unsupportive, but if you don't like it, you don't like it. But I think the background for it is really great - definitely keep it and work on it more. Smiley  I think you should continue the actual birdie theme on it similar to the first one. Maybe an unhappy birdie, as the theme seems to be caged in.

Perhaps you could try the birdcage effect again, but make it closer to the surface, so it doesn't have as much room to splay around.

Grin I love the bird on a wire! So sweet. I must agree about the second one. It seems a bit bulky. I like the bird on a wire theme. But you do what feels right to you. Keep going with it and see what comes of it. I always love your work and the second one just looks, not finished, or almost there. Wink
