Your work is beautiful Barbolot!  I too love the saying. I try to live that way.

I took the piece that you did for me recently to work and all of my students thought it was wonderful! I'll have to send you a pic of the wall of art that I'm starting. Smiley

Barbolot Thank you for posting pictures!!! And I am in  love with this peice. The sunflower is also my favorite part, and the owl, I absolutely love owls. I'm going to post the owl pic, but your pics are waaaaaaay better than mine.

I have to say that I'm so glad Barbolot was my partner. I can't say how much I love this piece and her stitches are amazing. I can't wait to sew this into a tote bag. And the fact that this was stitched on reclaimed linen is just too perfect.

For those of you who don't know the panel I sent to Lanysmiles was eaten by the volcano.  ='''''(  So as I work on a new one I thought I'd post a photo of the now missing one.  I'm still hoping it'll show up by Christmas.  heh. :/

it came out to about 9x9 stitched on grey shirting with rayon embroidery threads.  it's a raven diving at a rainbow of french knots.

I tried really hard to make the wings as free as possible, and very feather-like.

and my first time doing french knots...

I'm very sad that Lanysmiles won't see it in real life.  But I hope you like the digital version, and I'm diligently working on the new one for you, sweetheart!!  <3

I hope people are still checking out this gallery- cause honeyd's FIRST AND!!! SECOND swap parcel arrived!!!
She spoiled me so so much!!!

Parcel #1 contained an awesome starbucks NY mug and parcel #2 contained an awesome NY mug!!
In both (I'm so excited I can't remember which came in which package!!) there was peeps and m&m's and willy wonka sweets and a m&m keyring character and a LOAD of really cool stickers and pencils and stationary sets! Oh and a blank black tote for me to sew my raven panel on if I want!!! Oh and two awesome picture frames!! Cheesy
She made me a Legend of Zelda activity book!! And she spun THREE balls of yarn, all are in the most amazing colours!!!

Her first panel that she posted picturesof above is amazing!! All those french knots!! and the amazing raven!! It's so textured and free spirited looking!!I really love it!!
And her SECOND panel is amazing too!! It's the main charcters from the legend of Zelda (link and Zelda) and my name and my boyfriends name and the it's so co cute!!  I now have to find two awesome frames (I was going to use them on  bag or folder cover but they're too amazing to risk spills or wear and tear!!)

Oh my gosh I can't even think of words to describe how great all her stuff is!!
Its fantasmigorical-ing!! Cheesy

I'm going to get photos of all her amazing panels and all the great stuff she sent along too (also I'm in Ireland and she's in America so the postage was so so high for her both times!!! And the second package she sent in a really swish post that came in like 4days!!)

I can't even bagin to tell you how much I love both of these panels!! Cheesy
Plus I made a great friend to boot!! Cheesy
She's such a lovely person!! Cheesy

Ohmygosh!!!
Cheesy
Happiness!!!!!
