After long time of silence, I'm back with a new fantastic handmade object: an Handmade Medieval Loom.

It's a very simple loom, with no shuttle, but very easy to build and very funny to use.
here's the pictures show!

The first warp ( I started with more or less twenty lines, I guess that this loom can hold up to 50)



Detail of the cord heddle (whole Hand-knotted, and I think to add a lot of new cords)

Very nice.  Does it fold up when not in use?  It looks very simple to operate as well.

no, it doesn't.
But it's very practical and not so difficult to use.

I'll try it for a bit, and then I'll post some improvements I'm heading of.

Very nicely done!

I like the string heddle and the frame. This is a wonderful example of how the artist can build the tools they need.
