I've made some pretty happy dresses.
But this one is just jubilant.
I love it. I found this fabric at a thrift store for about 75 cents. It's originally from Ikea, I think. I originally wanted to use it to make curtains, but there wasn't much fabric. So I made it into a dress. The weather was crazy hot today and yesterday, so I had to make a light dress. Or I'd die.
I didn't use a pattern; I just made it up as I went.

There's the front. I made a boatneck and it buttons down the front with a bunch of different buttons.

There's those buttons! And you can see the cute little sheep and rabbit. And the rear end of a cow.
There's also little horses and chickens and cats on it.

Now the back is a nice v shapeamabob. I really like the v backs. It doesn't look too v-y here because of my scapula. But it is a nice v shape. I assure you.

You can barely see my sunburn. But it's there. I wore this dress today and got a million compliments on my funny shaped sunburn and only two on my dress. How strange. Cheesy

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.
