I'm thrilled with how these little hats turned out!
They have stiff felt (2 layers) for the base, so they're nice and sturdy feeling.
I'd love some feedback, since I plan on making more soonishly.

My personal favorite:

Thanks! I took the 2 layers of felt and made a pleat at the back, and found that it makes the hats sit perfectly on the curve of the head Smiley Oh, and I sewed on plastic combs to the underneath side, which I forgot to mention!

these are great! I really like the first and the second one....they would be awesome for my tea parties!  Grin  the purple is pretty cool too....
do you have a tute as to the shape you use when making the felt base? I would love to make some for the parties!

Some of them are circular, about 5.5" in diameter.
The teardrop ones I just kept drawing out until I found a shape I liked. I don't like the really long ones, so the shape I settled on has a softer teardrop shape to it than what I see a lot of other people make. I'd suggest you do what I did and practice drawing out shapes because I'm too lazy to scan my pattern, HA! Wink
