I'm nervous for mine now. Looking at these awesome packages, I don't feel like I made enough.  Undecided

I'm sure you made enough - I stuck to the requirements of the swap, too, so no extras from me even though I would've loved to, I just didn't have the time...the package from you will be awesome, I'm sure!

All these monkeys are fantastic!  I've missed the gallery until now and I'm sorry I did.  Such clever crafters.

Got my critter!!!!! AHHHHHHH! I was so freaking excited, and it was worse because it came yesterday but I wasn't home. Hubby kept giving me these hints that were driving me crazy, like "the box is huge, but it's super light," and "you're going to go crazy when you see it." Well I loooooove it. Jesa went with my nautical jules-verne-esque theme and used the pink I wanted, and just so chose my 3rd favorite animal (i didn't even tell her!), the squid.

whole package when i opened it

squuuiiiiiiidddddd and closeups of it's face and the cute (homemade? i never seen ones like that before) buttons. notice how there are both normal arms and the 2 longer puffy tentacles.

closeup of the sail. i'm loving the patch.

A TELESCOPE! Very explorer worthy  Wink

Thaaaaaaannnkkks so much Jesa!! It's awesome and we're all in love with it!

YAY! I'm so happy you liked it! I did some stalking on your posts and saw you say somewhere you love squids so I thought it would be perfect.

as a CNA and future nurse I hope you noticed the suckers on the tentacles are from med tops - we throw SO MANY of them away and I always love them and the colors! the eyes are pop tops, too, just big ones. I collect them at work and have gotten more nurses to collect them, too, that I am at a loss as to what to do with them all!!

I KNOW YOUR PACKAGE CAME AND I CAN'T FIND MY FREAKIN MAILBOX KEY. I'm about to pry it open.

I received an AWESOME package today from Zombie - I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! she followed my "gory" theme perfectly! here are the awesome photos (although they are great, the little guy is actually even cuter in real life, if that's possible):

first she made some awesome sock monkey cards:

then she made me an adorable pin cushion and a pillow (my daughter was SO excited that my sock critter had a pillow of his own. I have a feeling I know who will be sleeping with her tonight):

and FINALLY! my SOCK DONKEY! how cool is that!:

notice his little saddle (which Zombie said she didn't really love, but it is one of my favorite parts):

and the gore, you say? the GORE?! his guts fall out, of course!

thank you SO MUCH Zombie! sorry I had to share so many pics, but I am SO EXCITED!!
