Hey there,
I'm working from the corrected version of the Child's Placket Neck Pullover and I am completely stumped on something.

I've completed the lower body portion of the pattern. I've done the first sleeve til the portion when it says that I have to knit the sleeve sts onto the circular needle for the body. It doesn't say how many .  In fact, I don't really get the sleeve adjoining the body thing at all.

Has anyone done this?

Well I can't help ya, but I feel better just knowing someone is stumped in the exact same place I'm stumped!  Did you get it worked out?

You might want to check what version of the book you have.
There is a completely corrected pattern on purlsoho.com
Go to the pattern corrections, then click the link just under the picture of the book.
Good luck!

I just made  two of these. And once you do one arm it will totally make sense.

So first you place a marker on where you left off on your sweater, (this should be the right front sleeve) then you knit all of the sleeve stitches onto the sweater except the ones on the holder. the ones on the holder and the stitches on the holder for the sweater should line up. you will be kitchener stitching them together later. after you get the sleeve stitches on there place a marker and knit to the other side where you will do the same thing with the second sleeve.

Does this help? So to answer your queston it's all the sleeve stitches not on a holder.

hope i didn't confuse you.
