I took a break from working on my bunnies and dinos and penguins this morning check out what's happening on Craftster, and I see this awesome crocheted Cheshire Cat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=341319.0.  I was totally inspired to alter my bunny pattern once again and make my own Cheshire Cat!

Overall, I like him and I love how the stripes turned out.  But I think his mouth is not right, I think I should have made it more crescent shaped and I think I may have made his tail too big.  Oh well.

Other views.

And just in case you don't know who the Cheshire Cat is, a pic from Disney.

I hope you like him!  Comments and critiques welcomed!

(Oh, and these pics were taken with my new light box!  Smiley  I think the lighting could be a bit better, I'm still working on adjusting the lighting, plus the flash is still broken on my canon (and the slave flash I have just is too bright, it whites out the entire pic) so I'm trying!)

It's very cute! Yes, the mouth is quite big, but that's good on this cat.

It hasn't got a nose though, I think that would make the face complete.

Not a comment, just a suggestion! Smiley

I like all your creations, LOVE the penguin the most... Grin (for now)

He does need a nose...and whiskers!!!!! : ) I think that may be what you are thinking when you think the mouth is not quite right, 'cause I think his teeth are FAB! His tail is perfect and I like him! : )

This is amazing! This makes me want to make a chesire cat teapot cozy (random, I know, but the tail reminded me of a spout...somehow XD)
