here's what kept me busy during this loooong cold winter!
i must admit, after half of the blanket was made,i never wanted to touch a crochet-needle again.. but i can't
stand having something unfinished laying around,so i finished it. what i liked most about making it,was experimenting with all the colours and patterns (so every granny square is different now Smiley )
the blanket is 120cm x  108 cm . ( i guess that must be something like 48x 43 inches or so).

closer look at some squares...

Yes yes! These colours rock! It would look great as a wall hanging too.

WOW!  Love the colors!  Did you have a source for all your block patterns?  Or did you create them yourself?  This post has inspired me to start a similar project with my multitude of scraps.  How big are the blocks?

How pretty!  Reminds me of the blanket on the back of the couch in Roseanne, only prettier!  Very nice!

In general, is a granny square difficult?  Cause I still consider myself a beginner.  Working on my first beanie, and I made my first ami last weekend.  Just looking for something to keep expanding my horizons with.  Cause after 4 years, I'm finally past scarves!

This is so pretty. I like all the different colors and grannies. It turned out great!

This is a good project for clearing out some stash and I would like making all the little squares in the summer.  Smiley
