my mom has loved sleepytime tea for as long as i can remember. and i always loved the picture of the bears on the box. so, for her birthday i'm giving my mom a version of that bear..

gah! such awful photos here, but it's the best i could do at the moment. bad lighting and all that..



not as fanciful as my other illustrations, but i like it :]

So sleepy & happy.

There's a quote, I can't remember if it's from the Sleepytime box or a mug that my own mom has with the bears on it, but it goes like this: "Bread and water can so easily become toast and tea." Anyway, I love it, and for the longest time I've thought that someday I'll paint it on the wall in my kitchen. This would go great with it  Wink

Oh! If I could make sense of it all. I wish that I could sing, I'd stay in a melody. I would float along in my everlasting song. What would I do to believe...
