Let's talk leaves ** TUTORIAL**

This is wonderful! While I've seen leaves like this, I've never seen a tutorial! (Since I do a lot of different crafts, and beading is in the minority lately, I'd rather not buy the pattern and then end up not using it. We won't talk about how many patterns I've purchased and haven't used.)

Muria--Thanks so much for sharing the knitting info!!  I can do everything almost with string but the begining of loading knitting needle is either too simple (I am wierd and learn best with kinda hard stuff) or my rthand is stuck on crochet and working left and rt together loading needles is beyond my comprehension.  I will check the link you shared as soon as I can put these beads down....

 Pernillad, librarylover, staciart--I am so glad to be appreciated, this post is making my YEAR!!  Let me explain alot about myself.  Everything I craft I have taught myself.  No classes, but I have lucked out finding very inexpensive crafting books at flea markets and such.  I found the internet with my first computer in 2000. 
  If you click the link the the left to see all my posts in here, you would need a good week to soak it all in, maybe longer.  I share EVERYTHING and a little TOO much.
  I do not craft to make money!  I want to scream from the rooftops (and I do in here) when I find a clever idea.  You do not need alot of money to learn these things.  But I am sad to discover all the free tutorials that taught me are vanishing!!  I look at my binders full of their dusty brown pages  print outs of free tutorials I found, and look upon them as GOLD.
 I feel compelled to give back to the internet that has given me so much!!  I post my things in here with tutorials for my own benefit too!  I cannot remember everything I create and all the little steps.  Craftsters has grown to be my library.  I hope they allow me to be a space hog in here as long as I am able to (oink oink ) .  I hope my ideas are as useful to you as they were and still are to me. It is up to people like me to keep crafts alive by sharing sharing sharing~!!!  I get a thrill thinking of my pages in other crafter's binders!!!

I have been noticing that trend a lot lately too.  The beadwork tutorials and free patterns, especially, seem to be disappearing faster than some of the other crafts.  Pictures seem to be the first to disappear.

I have a lot of saved stuff too, but I tend to save them to my hard drive instead of printing them.  I try to save the original URL, and all the relevant text and pictures.  I do strip out the ads, most of the "strange" formatting, and most of the "ooh pretty" comments when I save them.
