thanks everyone!

kate conspiracy, for some of them i just krazy glued the petals together to a small circular piece of cardboard and in between each petal, but krazy glue doesn't work as well on some fabrics. for those, i sewed them together, just stringing them with a needle.

I have been learning how to make tsumami kanzashi flowers too recently and was looking for books on eBay.  I found an auction for a Japanese book which looked good, but what's great is that there's sample pages from the book and in some of them are the instructions for making 3 or 4 of the basic petal types!  Shocked

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=71186&item=8188787156&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting

Scroll down to the 3rd sample page for the instructions. Wink

thank you! i had to figure out how to get the flower onto the hair clip quite literally a few minutes before my boyfriend came over, and hot glue wasn't doing it for me since it was one of those metal bendy snappy things (if that description actually means anything to you! haha..). i ended up attaching it with some wire, and it worked quite fabulously for me.

Your hair look really beautifully i haven't seen flower like that before . Every time someone posts those flowers I really want to make them maybe some day I will finally get my self to do it, I hope it will be any time soon.

PS it is so sweet that your boyfriend made something for you I have never met a guy that did something crafty  (except doing MEN stuff with cars  Grin)
