This is the biggest piece I ever made and took me about 70 hours, spread out over more than four months. I was so happy when I was finally done.
And now it's off the frame the top is straight again.  Smiley

It's based on the poster for the movie In The Loop.

Oh.My.God. That is AMAZING! How big is it? That is such a cool idea. I showed this to my boyfriend and he loved it so much. Malcolm Tucker is pretty much his favourite person ever!

Thank you! Malcolm is the best fictional character ever. For sure. Cheesy

It's about 25 by 20 cm. (Sorry, but I still can't estimate in inches.)

This is immense! I also think Malcolm is one of the most insanely brilliant characters ever created. There are very few days when I don't attempt to use one of his lines...I should probably stop doing that before I seriously offend someone.

I do that all the time. "You're as useless as a marzipan... er, nevermind."

This is so cool!  I've been wanting to do a Malcolm Tucker embroidery piece for a while now, but hadn't thought of using the poster image - it looks amazing.

I'm a press officer, and I like to think that inside me lives a teeny Malcolm Tucker.  One day I will let him out.   Grin

Malcolm quotes are so very stitchable.

I've been planning on doing this cross stitch basically from the first time I saw the poster and it's only taken me a year to get around to doing it! hehe.

Is press officer as exciting a job as the show makes it look? Do you have a Jamie? Do you share your ghee?

Sadly, nothing like... I'm in a shoebox sized office on my own, chugging back tea.  And I work for the Church of England, so I don't think embroidered Malcolm quotes would go down well in the office!  Shocked

In the interest of keeping your job, those quotes are probably best kept at home. Smiley

But now I hope there's a spin-off show in which Malcolm starts working for CoE. It'd be delightful!
