So, I was inspired by this kimono-hoodie http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177160.80 and wanted to make one kind of similar but a bit different, so I went and bought a 2nd hand oversized hoodie. Then i drew round a t-shirt to make a pattern and cut it out on the hoodie. Then sewed it together and added a hoodie and voila. It wasn't quite as I'd wanted because I wanted a zip down the side, but there wasn't enough fabric, but I still like how it turned  out. Here it is:

(sorry its taken in the bathroom - I don't have a mirror in my bedroom!)
and the detail:

And the hoodie before:

And with the leftovers I made a porcupine pincushion from http://www.prudentbaby.com/2010/02/porcupine-pin-cushion.html though I think it looks more like a dinosaur!

I like that. Its reads as very elfish, especially because of the natural, moss-like colour.
Love it!!
