Yes, they are all handpicked from the island of Oahu. i picked some but most were given to me by a friend who picks everyday. I got the sand from my back yard Grin

Tee hee!  That is so neat..!  And the sand from your back yard is too funny... I am in Ohio... I could send you snow, LOL.  I shouldn't complain...the weather has been nice lately & I think the frosts have finally left!  Cheesy

Thanks again... I am very happy with my first swap, you are a wonderful partner Smiley

ok, we have ONE picture! have other people received yet? i sent mine on Fri but haven't checked to see if it made it yet to my partner! I'm dying to see pictures of what people made. I took some pix of the one I sent graciepetunia but haven't downloaded them yet (from my old 1.3 mp camera, newer one wasn't charged, so not sure how they will look) and certainly won't post till my partner receives. anyway, i'm excited to see the goods!!!

I'm still having trouble getting it to open after I shut it...I don't know what I did wrong, I avoided putting anything around where it closes, it's not heavily painted, everything's dry, and yet, it sticks!

maybe you should push in the sides just a bit. i think you could do it w/ your hands. i put mine in a vice to sand off the Altoid paint and the sides got bent a little but i was able to pull out the dent pretty easily.  good luck!

It's the corners that are sticking. The sides are fine. :-(

There's no paint, sealant, glitter, etc. at the corners?  If there is... try fine sanding it a little to "polish" that area...  I don't think a little sticking hurts anything, long as it doesn't get stuck permanently... ya sure it's not just tacky at this point?  What did you use to paint it... honey?  Cheesy

In other news...
The tin I received has been on my desk all this week at work & everyone keeps touching it!  I keep smacking hands & saying "No touchie, just lookie"  LOL
