Thanks for all of the great comments everyone!  For those of you who are going to try making this, feel free to badger me if you need any help. Smiley

And limey57, if it makes you feel any better, I had at least a dozen projects on the go when I dropped them all to make this bag. ^_-

Sorry about that!  My "lazy" patterns refer to me being lazy in how I write them up! lol  Basically, I've left out starting methods and turning chains because everyone has their own preferred way of doing them, so I just leave the bare bones.

So, here is an extended version of the pattern:

R1: ch4 (counts as dc, ch1), dc in fourth ch from hook, ch1. *dc in same ch, ch 1* 4 times. Join to the third chain (that you started with), with a slst (you'll have 6 ch1 spaces)

R2: slst into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc in same space, ch1. *3dc in next ch1 sp, ch1* 5 times (you'll have 6 ch1 spaces)

R3: slst to next ch1 space. ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc, ch1, 3dc all in same space. *3dc, ch1, 3dc all in next ch1 sp* 5 times (you'll have 6 ch1 spaces... these will be the corners. You'll also have 6 other spaces.  Just ignore them.)

R4: ch3 (counts as dc). 1dc in each previous dc, *dc, ch1, dc* in ch1 sp (you'll have 8 dc per side)
R5: same as R4 (10 dc per side)

Let me know if you're still having any problems...  I'll see if I can post some pictures to go with each round.

Thanks for the extended version.  Can't wait to try it.  I hope to use up my stash so I can buy more yarn! Grin

I have looked at this bag a few times, always planning to tell you how much I love it. But, no words can possibly work to explain just how much I adore this!! This is my inspiration to learning crochet. It is absolutely gorgeous!
