My mom got me this University of Hawaii Manoa athletics fleece and I couldn't wait to make something - ANYTHING!

The baby's feet have been cold in the morning so I started with this pair of footed pants.

I love the way they turned out and he's been using them all the time, but next time I am going to make the leg longer.  I measured where I was going to put the foot from the waist and I should have just plopped that foot anywhere since I have the ankle elastic to hold it in place.  Does that make sense to anyone else?

I added a little butt panel to accommodate his big ole cloth nite-dipe.  Tonight I found a little hole working it's way into the crotch already.  REINFORCE THOSE SEAMS, PEOPLE!

With the left over fleece and a cape thing from H&M, I made this jacket.  I LOVE IT!  Raglan sleeves and a roomy hood.  The buttons are all salvaged from the original cape so I didn't have to fuss with any of that - thank God.
Honestly, this jacket was so simple to put together that I almost thought I was doing something wrong!

Love the jacket.  Did you use a pattern or just wing it?
