This is my first posting ever after lurking about for quite some time.
I decided to make a member of a band I really enjoy a baby set for his first child. I've never met them in person but I have enjoyed their music for years. The inspiration was from the video Wannabe by Epik High. (The recipient will be Tablo who is the dude with the lightsaber in the video if you look it up on youtube.) I added my own claw idea to some baby patterns I found on the web and the ears from a toy bear pattern to the hat. I also learned four strand braiding for the first time to use on the ties for everything!

May I present to you the Wannabe Monster Baby Set.   Grin

The mitten.

The hat on my only model.

Booties!

Another view

The whole set.

I had a lot of fun making this and hopefully my friend that's taking them to Korea for me has no problem delivering them.

I'm d'aaawwwing over the little booties. I'm really digging how the "claws" have been shaped.

Aww, thanks for the nice comments folks.

The set is on it's way to Korea today! Hopefully it will get where it needs to go after that.  Grin

How cute!  All babies should have clothing that warns people- I mean, uh, that makes them look like little monsters.  ^_~
