Thanks everyone!

Pinkleo - I crocheted the outer row of each square with the cream and then sewed them together with the darning needle. It didn't take as long as I thought it was going to!

Greetings Granny Craftsters!!  Sorry to have been away for so long...moving is upon us and I haven't been granny crafting...well a little...practice for May's project.  I need to find my extra yarn where ever I've stashed it!!! Grrrr!

I am loving the picture updates and completed projects!!  Wowzers!  I really like everyone's use of colors and the different use of patterns...=]

I'll post a couple of pics tonight if DH is home from work early...been knitting a couple of baby sweaters for our (first) GD coming in September.

TheRobotSays: Love your squares and the clean stove top! Cheesy

Congratulations on the grandaughter Kittymom13.

As for me, I am two rows and 20 inches from finishing my blanket. Yep, that read two rows and 20 inches.

Since I am making a planed, one large square blanket, I am trying to follow a particular design. So of course I ran out of yarn when I only had 20 inches left to do on that round and it would have been the end of that color. Now I have to buy another skein to finish up those measly 20 inches before I work on my last two rows.

I was hoping I would have this finished, ends run in and everything by Friday, but the closest store is over 20 miles one way and since I have to be there to work Thursday, my blanket is on hold until then.  Wink Ah well, thats life.

Rottenlittleboys:
thank you(still wrappin' my head around 'Grandmother'!)

and I sure know what you mean about life and especially the trials of crochet/knit world!!  =]  Plan B makes our projects interesting!!  And boy do I know it w/ this month's CAL!!  I did just find my stash of thread...three rolls of hot pink and no more yellow...so where does my blanket go now??   Out of white thread, will order more next month and will work with what I have left of the yellow, pink, newly found varigated, and tan thread!!!
