Okay, so here is my update on my squares. I have more pictures in my picture hosting but rather than flood you with them I just chose one. These are my newest squares including the few I have started to join. Again, when it is done it will be an afghan for my daughter, who will be 12 in september.

Haha, when I was previewing this I noticed my weiner dog got his nose in the picture in the bottom left. hes a mommas boy and always has to be around when I am doing something.

thanks guys!  the slippers were very simple to make, maybe an hour to make them?  I think they'd be good charity items.  I'm thinking about baby granny slippers hmm...next time.

@lady_sepulchre
I love the colors & the squares you are using.

Thank you:) I like them too, I think it will be hard to part with once I am done:)

If you do want to do baby grannies I have a simple pattern for little grannies that are about 2 1/2-3 inches square depending on hook and yarn and tension and all that if you want it.

Sounds great, I thought about using a smaller hook & baby weight or fingering weight yarn for them, just so I can use some sort of motif for the toe.  You can always steal it back, that is if your daughter lives with you :]

@ stars_fire_17
You should, they keep my feet really warm...almost too warm, just make sure that you make them snug since it will stretch. I used a G hook & a solid granny with 6 rounds for the sole/sides and a 3 round granny for the heel & toe, still a little loose but socks fix that.

lady_sepulchre, beautiful stuff! I first thought that they looked like jewels, but I have to agree with Stars_Fire_17, the effect is closer to stained glass. Lovely, lovely, lovely!
