Even though I'm not Granny-A-Day-ing it, this CAL has been the kick in the pants I needed to tackle that afghan reconstruction.

I am behind.  This week has been stressful for me.  I was waiting for a call about a job.  I got the job on friday.  but now I will be working 72 hours a week so I won't have much time to crochet.

I'm working on mine right now, I got sucked into making some booties cos i got 2 balls of pretty sage green & coco cotton. mmmm.  Ran out of white yarn, but oh well lol. i have scraps laying around

I've got pictures! Finally! I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner... The pictures are a bit dark, but they're all I have.

So, here's the "afghan" in all of it's glory before...

There is black fuzz everywhere!

Oooo, lovely craftADDchick! Are you going to redo them in black, it looked really nice!

This week's squares:



I finished Inga's bag which took up the majority of the week. Excuse the crappy shot, once I "block" it and sew the straps on I'll have better pictures.

I also finished squares for the 2010 Block-a-month CAL, the Easter square on the top right, and the other two on the bottom from the 2010 200 Blocks CAL from Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet Blocks, Daisy Chain and Briar Rose.

The bag looks great, OnePinkHippo! And, your other blocks came out nice, too! That blanket's going to look awesome when it's done.

I'm going to re-join the blocks with white. I thought it'd cut down on some of the contrast between the blocks (i.e. maybe the blocks won't clash with each other quite so much ). I have no idea what I'll do with it once it's finished, but I'll deal with that when it's done

craftaddchick- does it make you feel sad to take it apart? I know I always feel sad to pull my projects apart!

Ariethine and Sera unravled- everyone has been having so much fun that I'm sure we'll do this again, so you guys will have a chance to play along when things are less stressful!

Anyways, here are my 17, oh no!! squares! had to catch up from most of this past week this evening, then took them down to my craft area to take pictures, and realized I was 1 square short! Here I was all excited to be caught up.. lol

Here is my progress. Sorry-it is a bit blurry. I was hoping to do 2 squares a day, to make a reasonable size by the end of April, but I am still a bit behind!
