Omg RR, I just watched this amazing video of an amazing papercraft project with teeny books inside of tiny books inside of small books inside of medium books etc.... It was amazing and I actually wanted to figure out a way to bind them in a way that they'd lay flatter w/o a jump ring, and I could fit them into something.
