Wow, these are gorgeous Cheesy

What did you draw the inchies onto?
I can't tell what material you did the inchies on... Is it thin cardboard? the way you finished the sides makes it look like old leather Smiley

Each inchie base was punched from shoebox/crackerbox/cereal box etc (double thick b/c 2 are glued together), then the colored background is scrap from a kid's book. On the edges, first I smudged with colorbox "burnt sienna" chalk ink and then I used a black brush pen to turn the outer edge black! I like that you thought it looked like leather Smiley That makes me feel sophisticated  Cheesy

Holy craaaaaap, I want one of those now. It's my biggest obsessions rolled into one! Book + Paper arts + Tiny. Now if only I could make one that was somehow also a doll...

You did a great job! I'm looking forward to the alphabet inchie swap too!

Toooo cute...I might steal your idea for colouring the edges black, it does give them so much more depth and makes them look really elegant. Sooooo excited for the swap!

I love your ocean doodles!  Especially the angry crab, I just want to hug him!

I thought it was leather too and think it is such a great idea to make it into a decoration!

Inchie earrings are a really awesome idea! Makes me wish I had my ears pierced. Unfortunately that never worked out for me, so I guess for me it would be necklaces.

Wow, that's fantastic - love the fishy drawings.
I've just started on a similar book design kind-of-thing using coasters - hadn't thought about going smaller... but now...
