I made my brother a tiger shirt, since his nickname is "Tiger"!

It's made from some velour fabric I got from ebay, which was horrible to work with, but it came out OK in the end.

I also got some cool tiger buttons from ebay as well:

Wow, that is some shirt and I love the buttons that you picked out, your brother is very lucky to have a sister like you.
Any suggestions on how to make button holes in velour fabric?

Thanks for all your lovely comments!

My brother is helping us install a new bathroom, so the least I could do was make him a shirt  Cheesy

THe button holes weren't too bad to do - I used interfacing on the front facing, so there were two layers of fabric and a layer of interfacing which I think stabilised it a bit. My machine does one step buttonholes, which I think also helped. I used a slightly longer stitch length, but that's about it.
