I titled it, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Inspired by the book, "Circle Play," the idea is to lay the fabric circles on the background triangles in such a way that the viewer's eye travels over the quilt following the lines/colors, and might be deceived where the pieces overlap. Extending the print fabrics into the border continues the line play.

I just love putting these together (this is my second) and am always on the lookout for fabrics that might work well in a a circle quilt. I find piecing the borders a little challenging, but so far have had serendipitous results.

Wow, I absolutely LOVE this Cheesy I have a thing for black and white fabric ... and I love the idea that you're not sure where the lines are Smiley

I'm seriously in love with this quilt! The fabrics are just stunning and I love the play between the shapes and the patterns. I like that red frame too- it makes the piece pop.

That's really neat.  I love the starkness of the colors and the way they travel.  Very cool!
