Okay my beautiful friends.
Please check the first post, make sure you are under the correct categories. Also, everyone who has submitted a questionaire at this point should have feedback on their profile, if you don't please let me know.
Signups will be closing up this Friday night at midnight CST.
Saturday morning/early afternoon I should have partners posted, and questionaires sent out.
I'll be assigning half of the pairings under myself, and the other half under funthreads. That will be the organizer you will need to "report to" when you send, receive, or if you have any problems with your partner or sending on time. This will be the organizer completing your feedback at the end of the swap.
I encourage you all to have a lot of fun with this swap, I think its going to be. Use this thread for lots of questions questions. we have lots of experience in this thread, and I bet we have a lot of people willing to help out with questions!!

Roll Eyes  "Hi, I am Barbara and I am addicted.  To Craftster, crocheting, and swaps-not necessarily in that order."

Dang it, I have no more openings for swaps...as soon as I do...if in time...please consider me in...I have been stalking this swap since it was posted on the 'New Ideas' thread.

I too have been waiting for sign ups.  I have to finish a swap due out Monday and really get busy on another.  I will wait to sign up until it gets closer to knowing how much time I will have and which catagory I want.  I am thinking the more I can make the more I will get.  I am a sewer and would love some crocheted or knitted items.

I'm thinking about signing up as knitter/crocheter. I am a bit vague on the item values (medium vs. large), though. It usually takes quite a lot of time to, say, knit a pair of socks. Even if you knit them up pretty fast it takes you definitely (or me) more than three hours to knit them in the usual weight for sock yarn. Would a pair of socks be a medium item or a large item? Since there are no large items on the list.. would signing up for C mean we could also do, say, a pair of socks and something that's more in the "small" category to make up for the time that went into knitting the socks?

I don't mean this to say I'm not willing to spend time on this swap, mind! It's just that knitting something, unless it's really something small, does take time and unless I strictly go with the expense criterium I'll end up sorting items into categories larger than I sometimes feel they should be in.. if that makes sense to you.

And again: Would it be over-the-top to put a poppet on the list of things I'd love? I've no idea how much time goes into making one (which I'm guessing also depends on whether it's the first one or not). ..

So... just trying to clear things up for me before signing up!

This sounds like loads of fun, I haven't done a swap in a while and have picked up a few more crafts since then Wink I've been busy!

Sarantha: I'm pretty sure it's safe to say a pair of socks would be considered a large item and then you could do a small to make up for the rest. Socks are time consuming monsters! Man, If I were paired with you and got a pair of socks, I wouldn't even care what the other item was, you could send me a twix bar or something. Socks would be so amazing Cheesy I would sew you whatever you wanted haha.

I think Im definitely going to sign up for this one, as a both ways gal (haha, i swing both ways.. lol sorry, corny joke, couldn't help it). I'm going to wait a little though, I have to figure out what category I have time for. I'd like to sign up for the large one, but we have to be realistic here. Tongue Who knows, maybe I can do that much.

I'll be back! Can't wait to see who else signs up <3

I would say a dressed poppet is a large to extra large item depending on how you want him/her dressed.

Hmmm, I will have to give this swap some thought....
