What do Lays potato chips and tissue cases have in common?? You can't have just one.
These adorable cases are made entirely in the hoop in one hooping so they go really fast once you cut out all your fabric ahead of time. The only thing that is expensive are the zippers so I need to find a cheaper source like Ebay if I plan to make more of them. My dd has requested some for her teachers and my friend saw one and bought it from when I was showing them to her. I never expected that, I had to remake the grey as that is the one she wanted...it's my fave too. I also realized they aren't just for tissues, they hold Ipod touches and my MyTouch phone. My dd wants to use one for her gum and she thinks I should put my diabetes suppies in one too. Here are a few pics of the ones I have made...just 14 of them.

That is so awesome! The one you got the close up of it gorgeous. I would totally use one of those for my monitoring supplies also.

She said I should put my glucose tabs, extra syringes and candy in them. She's always watching out for me.

These are beautiful, I love the fabrics you used, and the machine stitching
I love the cupcake one and the 3rd from the left on the top row

Those are cute! The cupcake one would be great for your diabetes supplies, because it would be ironic!

These would also work to hold an insulin pump after a small tweak or two. Do you have a tut?

No, they were made on my embroidery machine, the machine does everything...all I do is place the fabric down in place and it sews it up for me. I never thought about an insulin pump...I have this design that is used for credit cards and is a keychain. I'll have to see if my old pump fits in it.

Those are so cute! Did you design the embroidery file yourself or download it from somewhere? I would like that file, if you know the source.
As for zipper sources, I usually find zippers at yard/tag/rummage sales in the summers or salvage them from things that I'm throwing out. My "garbage" rarely makes it to the can in its orignal condition, always "stripped": down, missing buttons, zippers, d-rings, etc. Thanks for the idea regardless, I think it would be fairly easy to reproduce via sewing machine.

I bought the design from here
http://www.ggdesignsembroidery.com/index.php
I can make up a tute on how to make it via normal sewing machine. The nice thing about machine embroidery is that it is fast and easy and no worries about keeping a straight line. lol
