sooo Ive been super inspired by everyones needle book and have recently made embroidery my new obesssion so I figured I better make one for myself. I was kind of blue because I didnt have much felt on hand (it was O-dark-thirty) but then I remembered that my mom gave me a pirate patch a few years back and it was sitting in my stash soooo I dug it out and grabbed my black felt and some red floss and got ta stitchin!

I made it larger than most because I wanted to add a little pocket in the back for my needle case as well. I also put some thin card board between the felt so that its really stable. I aso added a snap on it to keep it closed Smiley

hope you enjoy it!

and if this is in the wrong section let me know...I figured it goes in needlecrafts because its for needlecrafting and I used my new found embroidery skills to put it together Smiley

That's a great idea! A needle case is something I could use, and I've got a couple of unused  patches that are exactly the right size. The extra pocket is a clever idea, too. Could even hold a tiny pair of scissors.

There's a special film named "Pirates" that uses the same logo of skull and the two swords. I won't say how I know about this though.  Lips sealed
