I saw quilts made like this either on here or on someone's blog.  I loved how simple it was and the fact that it is quilted as you go.  Just cut a bunch of little scraps and place them on your quilt sandwich and sew them down.  When you're finished sewing, your quilt top is finished.  Easy, peasy!

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

I love it!!  the colors, the technique, the model!  So are the edges of the scraps raw, or turned under?  It looks like they're raw, and will frazzle up nicely when washed!  I'm gonna try this.

I was wondering the same thing about the scraps.  Did you do a zig zag stich over the edge or something?  Looks great!

Love this! Here is where I first saw it:

Glad to see your version. I have been thinking about making a full twin size comforter (x2) for my girls' room, but haven't been brave enough. Did you have any trouble managing that much fabric in your machine? I have been trying to think of ways to do smaller portions but still quilt as I go. Not sure. It is near the bottom of my list at the moment.

No, I didn't turn under the edges or zigzag stitch it.  I just stitched about a 1/4 inch in on each scrap.  Just wash it and pick the loose threads off and it looks great!
