I've been having a great time lately weaving up rings - depending on the complexity they take anywhere from an hour to three - and that's "instant" gratification to a bead weaver.
The first four were done in right angle weave, with some netting embelishment, and the bottom two were straight up right angle weave.
Fun right?

Beautiful! I laughed when I saw you mention 1 - 3 hours as 'instant gratification' for a beader. So true, and so crazy when you stop to think about it!

They look cool on. I am not really sure if I could wear them; I'm hard on rings. What kind of thread do you use? What happens if they get wet?

Feast Your Eyes, I'm pretty hard on rings too. I'm a hoop dancer, so any jewelry I wear is going to have pressure put on it by the hoop.
Having said that, the weakest part of any of the rings would probably be the bugle beads. They stand up to a lot, but if you slammed your hand in a door or something, they would be the first to crack.

I use Fireline (at least 6lb test) for all my weaving.
Nothing will happen to them if they get wet. When I had dreadlocks, I had peyote stitch dreadlock sleeves on my dreads and never took them off, not in the shower or anything and I never had one break or get icky from being wet.

True, Fireline is made to be wet, right?  Cheesy I may have to try this!

JoJo I love these!  I've seen a lot of peyote stitch rings, but the RAW lends itself so well to this netted design.  Great stuff!

Lovely rings.  Is this your pattern?  would you post a tut?  I would love to make one for myself.
Thanks for sharing!
