I received my other squishy fiber package this evening...from YarnWranglerC!  Gorgeous, incredibly vivid colours Smiley It's a BFL roving she named "Ornamental Magnolia", and without further ado...a picture!

Another colourway that reminds me of spring...I'm seeing a pattern here!  YarnWranglerC, thanks so much for swapping with me!!

I FINALLY have photos of the wonderful fiber Nesse sent me!

The full package!

The awesome card, is it some handmade paper?

And the lovely fiber.  It's some of the softest nylon ever, the color is SO me, and it's just fantastically soft!

thanks Nesse!  I love it!  =)

suhweet! I'm glad you like it! the card was made from "ATC blanks" I got in a swap with sugaree. they're cardboard food boxes cut up, and I glued some handmade-esque paper onto the printed side. it's also stamped with handmade stamps! (made by sheepblue and myself).

okay you two, I have to ask - are your photographs a good representation of the color? this was my first time dying nylon (ok, the second, but the first time doesn't really count) so I'm just wondering if it really did fade that much. here's the picture I took:

Your picture definitely captures the color better Nesse!  Unfortunately I couldn't take photos in natural light, and I think nylon is one of those fibers that really soaks up the sun.

It seems to be a little softer than your picture, but I'm thinking I got the back one, which has more periwinkle in it.

Either way I loves it!  Grin

Your photo is better for the color!  I don't get much sunlight time for photos so they're not always that great for color representation.

Okay bueno! My camera does oversaturate everything a bit... well I have another half of a pound left of the nylon, I just need to find time to dye some more!
