We just closed on out first house and that means that I can permanently change things. Grin Grin Grin

We 99.999% love the house. One of the things I really wanted to change is the doors to our big beautiful shower. It felt a bit like a fish tank, but we still wanted to be able to see out. We could have upgraded to a frosted glass but it would have cost $1000 which didnt seem right. So I found these vinyl cattails that are supposed to be for wall decoration and I used glass etching cream from the craft store and sponged it on.

I am really pleased with how it turned out. The original plan was to take the vinyl off but I like it so much I have left them on. We will see what happens over time. I dont think the final pic quite does it justice.

just cattails

one side sponged

Yeah! No more fishbowl! Great job! But if it were me, being the frog lover that I am, I would have stuck a frog amongst those cattail... LOL  Roll Eyes
