STILL waiting for my pattern to arrive. Otherwise Im working along quietly. I took one part to work today and got called Nana  Roll Eyes Im a 23 year old who likes to crochet, how on earth does that make me a Nana? lol

For some reason people still associate knitting/crocheting with older generations which is weird because in history people learned to knit at very young ages.

Some of my co-workers do the same thing to me.  I'm almost 27, I knit and crochet.  Earlier this school year I went out to lunch with some friends and I got there first so I was sitting there knitting away and when they walked in, one of my friends said "well look at Grandma!"  Oh well.  Whatever  Smiley  Not like its going to make me stop  Wink

Just checking in *waves hello* .. I'm not yet done crafting everything for the ball, but I should be done in a week or so.. baa-me-chick unwittingly got me all addicted to learning how to spin, so that's taking some of my focus away.. I've run out of wool to spin, though, so I'll get the crafting done these days  Grin

Haha! Sooooo much fun isn't it Cheesy

All these EARLY senders!! Shocked Swap anxiety has kicked in now BIG time Tongue
My difficulty is making decisions..............i mean REeeaally! It actually triggers some of my bipolar symptoms Roll Eyes Then add swap anxiety on to that & i've got panic!!!! I can't sleep, can't eat..........................and i do this for fun Huh Cheesy Cheesy

Yay! I can't wait!  Cheesy

I went shopping today for yarn, but I didn't find anything I liked. I didn't go to the big yarn store, so I hope I'll have better luck there. I'm hesitating between a few patterns so it'll depends on the yarn I find. I've crafted a few things to put in the ball, that's going really well.  Smiley

I received my yarn ball from sarahj2001 yesterday...  holy wow she wasn't kidding about it taking forever to unwind!  It took me about 2 and a half hours to get all the way to the middle of it.  LOTS of yarn!   Cheesy  Good for a lot more afghans/lapghans.  My hubby is working as a chaplain in a hospital this summer for his graduate program so I'll be using some of this wonderful yarn to make lapghans for the people he's working with.   Smiley  I'll post pictures this week sometime when I get a break to work on taking pictures.
