We needed a little more green for our meals today, so I made these lovelies. Smiley

Super simple process!  I made two boxes of Jiffy per the package instructions.  I left one plain.  I added some drops of green coloring to the other.

Then I layered them into the muffin cups and baked for 15.

Cooled.

And then we ate them. Smiley

baby.sweets4ever really liked them as well. Cheesy

Thanks, guys!

Jiffy is so inexpensive and can be using in many ways.  Sometimes, I like to add a bit of honey to the batter...mmMmMm!

I didn't realize it wasn't for sale in Canada. Sad

Jiffy mixes are produced in Chelsea, Michigan (about 1/2 hour away from here, where my husband grew up).  I suspect their distribution is centered in the midwestern US.  There's a product locator on their website, but since it's limited to zip code for the search, I imagine it's a US only product:  http://www.jiffymix.com/

If you're really bored, you could do searches on familiar zip codes to see where in the US you can get jiffy mixes.  Smiley

Cool idea with the food coloring, and the green mashed potatoes and milk are great too!  (Considering that there's blue corn, when I clicked on the post, for a minute, I thought I'd missed a new agricultural product). Smiley
