Wink  NH822...as Bob the Builder would say:  "Can we do it?"  "Yes we can!"  Grin I have found out that I too, am more of a "wing it kind of gal" and am now working on a complex item for my partner.  I just keep on picturing my partner's face when she receives the finished item.

I went to Joann's today...found some adorable owl fabric that I know I will be able to use in a swap at some point!  Michael's had some good stuff on sale too.

I'm a "wing-it" girl too.  If I see something I like that would be a cut-out applique, for instance, I try to enlarge it as much as possilbe on my little 15" monitor and trace it, even if I have to trace it in sections.  I did a felt applique for a pillow this way for Christmas, turned out great.  I have done other drawings, ect. to stow away for later refererence.  Or sometimes I just try to freehand  some thing, like the " $ " and cent-sign I just made out of felt for a swap.  Simple clothes I do without a pattern, but for myself (big size) I need a pattern then i can embellish.  But purses, totes, organizers etc, I just wing-it.  It's more fun.  I always say, there's a right way, a wrong way, and a Margie-way! LOL!

We have a sender!  The gallery may be found here (though at the moment, it's pretty empty):  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=344101

Since I like to be able to move between threads, there's a link in the first post of both threads to each other.  Keeps it easy to find.  Smiley

Also, I didn't realize it yesterday, but it was exactly 3 weeks until send out yesterday (so 2 weeks 6 days till send outs today).  In case anyone's interested.  Grin

Yay!  I am excited.  I will probably be sending out closer to the deadline, it's really coming along though.
