Done.  Finally. I used two charm packs and Quilters Only.  Backing from a LQS.  This is definitely in the better-done-than-perfect category, but I'm keeping it for me and am happy enough with it.  I chain pieced the squares in between working on a more challenging project.  It was much needed brainless sewing.  I still haven't washed it, so it should get a bit more crinkly.

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Inside a dog it's too dark to read.

Oh.. I like it! And I love your model in the first pic too.  Wink

I have several Civil War reproduction charm packs that are lights and darks. I may now have a relatively simple idea for something for my husband (who is coveting the CW quilt I'm making for someone else). Of course, lining up all those points might make me go crazy.

My family has one that looks just like this that my great grandmother made out of scraps of the kids clothing.  Yours looks so good!  I do not have the patience to quilt.

Great job!

PS- I also love the pug shot!

I loved this when I saw it in the "what are you working on?" thread and it looks even cooler now that it's all finished.  I admire your binding.  It looks great!

Thanks everyone!  cjclark, the points aren't too bad.  It's quilting over the intersections that was harder.  That scant 1/4" seam is key.

Sloth, you can steal  borrow my ideas anytime.  Are you MareMare's swap?  I missed sign ups because I couldn't decide if I had time or not.

Pugs are like cats, I think, always on the quilt and in the way!  Good thing they are so darn cute.
