I was inspired by my recent joining of the friendship bracelet swap to create little tiny ones for this challenge. I used single strands of 6-strand embroidery thread to make them.

I enlisted the help of my daughter's Polly Pocket dolls for modeling these little suckers.

Here they all are laid out flat

Next to a full-sized friendship bracelet for scale (each color uses all 6 strands of embroidery floss)

And finally with my rotary cutting ruler over the top to show that they are all less than 2 inches long.

Thanks for looking!

well the tiny ones are surely awesome...
But the regular sized one is equally rad!
Did you have a pattern for that, or did you just make it up...

Thank you for the kind words everyone! I feel so honored to possibly have inspired more people to make tiny friendship bracelets.

I'd love to take credit, but, the pattern for the regular sized one came from the original Klutz friendship bracelet book. It is an excellent book and I recommend it for anyone looking to get into making these. (Not associated in any way, I just really like the book).

I did however, happen to create the pattern for the blue, yellow and white one (muted tones, not bright). I was trying to remember how to make the one that is shown at the full sized scale without the book in front of me and I accidently created something new. I love happy accidents! Smiley

Ha ha, woah, that's awesome!  You must be unbelievably patient.  What a cute idea!

I'm in the friendship bracelet swap, too--maybe we'll be partners!   Grin  My wrists are small, but not that tiny....

those are great and take micro macrame to a new level! I like the fact you managed to do all those different patterns too. I used to love making friendship bracelets when I was younger!

Those are awesome!! I can see all the dolls wearing these now. This could be very popular over on the "toys, dolls and playthings" page.
