this is one of my favorite things I've made - a custom case for my pipe! (novelty. for tobacco use only, of course! ;-)

Wow, that looks delicate, no wonder you knit a case for it.  It seems to fit perfectly, did you draft out some kind of pattern or did you just wing it and see how it fell?
