Personal poppet swap? PM me!

I recently made this owl purse for a swap. Luckily, A few years back I had actually had a bag similar to this on my wist (found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292065.0) and I ended up receiving one in a round of the OWS, so I was able to bag I received as a reference when making this bag.

The bag wasn't super hard to make, I just made it more difficult for myself because instead of using interfacing in it, I used super thick wool felt. The felt and the fabric didn't match up when I was sewing and it kept shifting around... Therefore the bag took me a lot longer than it would have if I originally used interfacing. :/  BUT! I really loved how it turned out...

I used stiff felt for all of the features (which I first hot glued on and then sewed) and I used backpack strap material for the handles and I made the strap adjustable. I made the bag about the side of an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper and 2 1/2-3 inches in width...

My partner really liked butterflies and fortunately I had this perfect cotton fabric. I also used polar fleece on her belly:

The inside, my only regret was not putting a pocket on the inside:

The entire thing:

That is adorable! The expression makes me think of one of my favourite books when I was a kid - "The owl who was afraid of the dark".

I want one!! Cheesy
