The other night I was sleepless and bored, and I started playing around with some bits of wire.
At first I made the heart of the thicker wire, with a loop in the inside from where I had a small silver bead dangling. But I didn't like it that much, so I found some thinner wire as I had in mind a picture I *think* I saw here (totally unsure about this) and this is my result:

I was a little worried of the wire getting caught on clothes or scarves, but not so far... I'm pretty pleased!

Ehm... I am sorry but I can't answer the question... The thicker one I actually bought in a bead shop, but I have lost the packaging a long time ago, so I do not really know... By eye, it's around 1millimeter across... The thin thin one, it's a big spool I inherited from my dad's when he closed his firm and it is so old (dad passed away in '98 so this is much older than that) it lost all the markings too... sorry!

Thank you again!
I am liking the pink beads a lot, because it's a very very soft colour, and I don't mind it mixing with other colours or clashing with what I'm wearing (I'm a bit  picky with my color combinations, be it matching or contrasting)... but it's still more interesting than clear or silver beads. ^_^

I like this!  For some reason it brings to mind a heart with barbed wire wrapped around it.  The delicate pink beads are a good contrast.
